My Daily Tools

Operating Systems

  • Windows Pro + WSL very often and occasionally on MacOS or Ubuntu
  • Ubuntu Server and Windows Server as servers.
  • iOS and Android as phones.

I prefer cross-platform tools, as I often switch between multiple systems.

Tools

  • Visual Studio Code as code editor. Neovim as an alternative sometimes.
  • TablePlus, my favorite SQL client.
  • Postman for APIs.
  • Brave / Edge / Zen Browser as web browsers.
  • Wezterm + tmux + zsh for the CLI environment.
  • Obsidian for note-taking.
  • Mozilla Thunderbird as mail client.
  • Affinity for graphic design.

Organization

I use the PARA method (Projects Areas Resources Archives) + Zettelkasten + GTD (Get Things Done) to organize my files, notes and tasks.
